# Duggy

> Duggy (https://duggy.app) is a cricket club accounting and management app for local
> cricket clubs, built for how Indian clubs run. It replaces the
> WhatsApp-group-plus-Excel setup with one shared, tamper-evident account book
> plus club management tools. Free plan up to 20 players; paid plans from
> ₹1,999/year. Apps for Android and iPhone plus the web app; sign-in is via
> TinTorch (WhatsApp-verified phone), so there are no passwords.

Duggy is NOT a ball-by-ball scoring app and it never holds the club's money -
it is the record book. Clubs collect via UPI or cash themselves; every entry
lands on an append-only ledger with a live balance per member.

## For club members (players)

- Your balance and statement: every contribution, match charge, store order
  and adjustment on one statement with a live balance.
- Add money: pay the club's UPI ID from the app (or hand over cash), report
  the amount, and a manager approves it into your balance after checking.
- Membership card: a digital club card for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
  showing your live balance; it updates automatically.
- Matches and tournaments: availability, squads, and your share of match
  costs charged automatically; tournament kitties paid in advance.
- Club store: order jerseys and kit; charges land on your statement.
- Announcements: club news with comments, reactions and push notifications.
- WhatsApp/Telegram bot: text "balance", "due", "statement", "matches",
  "clubs", "pay" or "summary" to the Duggy bot and get an instant answer;
  anything else gets an AI-assisted reply.

## For club managers

- Roster and roles: invite over WhatsApp with join links; managers vs players.
- Club ledger: every member's balance, club totals, funds held and
  outstanding dues; search, filter and bulk-manage entries.
- Top-up review: members report UPI/cash payments; managers approve against
  the bank statement or cash box before anything credits.
- Matches: create matches, record expenses once, split per player
  automatically; import from Cricheroes on paid plans.
- Tournaments: kitties, goodies, and per-member tracking.
- Store management: products, orders and fulfilment.
- Announcements with push; member statements; CSV import/export (paid).
- Branding: club logo and wallet-card color; branded UPI QR on paid plans.
